Pavel, if you don’t mind me asking, where do you have your photos printed in Czech Republic? Any you would suggest to be avoided?

Hi, to tell the truth I don’t do much printing lately…but I should. So can’t reccomend anything. Just avoid cheapest offers from drugstores /2 CZK for 10×15 cm print/ if you want quality. In Prague maybe you can try Fotoskoda:

      fotoskoda.cz/vyvolani-fotografii/

I do more book printing instead.

Photobooks are the way to go!

    Thanks.
I recently had to use one of those machines in DM shop. Not the worst print I’ve ever seen, but a million miles from the best!
I’m familiar with the Fotoskoda shop – I bought my GR there.

I bought GR II in Fotoskoda, too. Hey, do you have a website or online gallery….?

I don’t. I have Tumblr and Instagram accounts. I use Instagram for following a couple of people. I started my Tumblr account about 5 or 6 years ago, but I haven’t exactly been prolific in posting (understatement). I was never looking for followers, simply somewhere for me to post the occasional photograph.
    Anyway, here’s my “gallery”…. https://amblerography-blog.tumblr.com/

With regard to the GR, I’ve never suffered from the infamous dust issue — four years and counting!

Thanks for the link. I just wondered what kind of photography you are into!

I’m not into (nor do I have) any particular style. I’m not disciplined or talented enough for that. If it catches my eye, I’ll snap. I’d say that 90% of my photos are family stuff, anyway.
I’m not a big fan of so-called “street”, especially the Bruce Gilden approach.

An article you might enjoy… http://thephotofundamentalist.com/general-discussion/is-street-photography-killing-itself/#comments

I like the work of many photographers: Saul Leiter, Fred Herzog, Josef Koudelka, Harry Gruyaert, to name a few.
